Families Facing Unexpected Hardships
One-time financial assistance for families experiencing a medical event, job loss, disaster, or other unexpected circumstance that disrupts household stability.
Who this program serves
Households experiencing an acute, documented hardship — such as a medical crisis, job loss, natural disaster, or major unforeseen expense.
Examples of assistance
- Emergency housing, rent, or utility assistance
- Disaster relief coordinated with local partners
- Essential household needs during a documented crisis
- Referrals to community, faith-based, and government resources
How we deliver help
Requests reach us primarily through community partners already working with the family — social workers, schools, community foundations, and faith communities. Every request is reviewed on the merits, coordinated with the referring partner, and documented from intake through disbursement.
