Governance
Accountability is a
daily discipline.
Every donation the Noble Impact Fund receives is a fiduciary responsibility. We govern the Fund as if the public were sitting on our board — because, in every meaningful sense, they are.
Six Pillars of Oversight
The systems that make our promises credible.
Independent Board
A majority-independent board of directors — including professionals unaffiliated with the founding firms — sets policy, approves budgets, and reviews grant activity.
Annual Independent Audit
Financial statements are audited each year by an independent public accounting firm. Audits and Form 990 filings are published on this site upon completion.
Written Policies
Conflict-of-interest, whistleblower, document-retention, gift-acceptance, and investment policies are adopted in writing and reviewed annually by the board.
Program Outcomes
Every program publishes defined outcome measures — families stabilized, medical debt relieved, veterans supported — and reports against them each fiscal year.
Recipient Confidentiality
Assistance recipients are never named or pictured publicly without their written, revocable consent. Case files are held under strict confidentiality controls.
Registered & Compliant
The Fund registers to solicit charitable contributions in every state that requires it, and complies with all applicable federal, state, and IRS reporting obligations.
Financial Discipline
Targeted expense ratios.
The board has adopted the following operating targets. Actual ratios are reported each year in our audited financial statements.
Program Services
87%
Target minimum of program-related spending
Management & General
8%
Ceiling on administrative overhead
Fundraising
5%
Ceiling on fundraising expense
